Testimony:

Tasha Harris was born and raised in The South Bronx by her mother. Her environment was infested with drugs, gangs and violence. God blessed her with the talent to play basketball which helped Tasha navigate through difficult circumstances. With the help of, what Tasha calls ‘one of her Angels’, Apache Paschal (founder of Exodus NYC and a pioneer of women’s basketball in New York), Tasha eventually earned herself a full scholarship to Syracuse University. After college she went on to pursue her Masters in Business Administration. Through all her success she battled with being undiagnosed with ADHD/ADD and experienced severe mental health issues. After years of trying to will her way through the dark times in her life Tasha said ‘God came and found me’. After her encounter with God Tasha said ‘God led me to attend Faith Bible College International. All this time God had a plan for me life and I am thankful His plan for my life aligned with my goals for empowering youth. This is my calling Believer Sports Academy Inc. Inspiring youth and showing them what God has done for me, He will do for them. Provide them with a gift of peace of mind and heart. A life - a life of abundance and prosperity. Something this world cannot give them or take away. I am a witness to the love of Jesus Christ.’

Believer Sports Academy Inc. was founded by Tasha but the dream and vision is from God.

Dr. Iaysha Hollis earned her Doctorate in Education and Leadership from the University of Dayton. With over two decades of experience, she has played a pivotal role in the lives of young individuals. Dr. Hollis has dedicated herself to nurturing the minds and spirits of youth, empowering them to strive for excellence and preparing them to emerge as future leaders not only in academics and sports but also in various aspects of life.

Director of Sports

Alvin Pratt serves as the Dean of Culture at Democracy Preparatory High School in New York. Throughout his career, Coach Pratt has made significant contributions to the lives of youth across different spheres, including the juvenile justice system, education, and sports. His dedication to supporting young individuals has facilitated the graduation of many from high school and encouraged them to pursue further education and career opportunities. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in guiding students to excel in collegiate and professional sports.
